Gran Sasso has added an organic wine to its lineup, made from 100% Montepulciano, an indigenous grape variety. The 2016 is the first vintage, offering rich fruit flavors and a subtle hint of oak, making it an approachable organic wine. (Certifications: Euroleaf, ccpb)

This wine is a ruby red with garnet reflections. It features intense aromas of wild berries and a hint of vanilla. The concentrated and persistent fragrance harmonizes beautifully with notes of licorice and fruit, subtly revealing an ethereal quality. On the palate, it is full-bodied and supple, with excellent overall balance. It is a powerful and deep wine with a long finish.
