Jean-Luc Thunevin, known as the pioneer of "garage wines," has significantly influenced the wine industry. The excellence of his wines was further affirmed when his Château Valandraud was promoted to Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé B in 2012. It displays a deep, dark purple hue. A complex fusion of aromas includes black fruits like black cherry, chocolate, mocha, hints of smoke, and spices such as cardamom and cloves.
