Tommasi Le Fornaci Lugana Riserva 2019 750ml

"Le Fornaci" means "the kilns" and is the name of a vineyard in DOC Lugana. We use only carefully selected Turbiana grapes from three vineyard plots that produce powerful and elegant wines. While highlighting the youthful and fresh aspects of Lugana, aging some of the wine in French oak barrels creates a complex and well-balanced flavor profile.

The aroma is very complex yet harmonious. Along with freshness and minerality, you can detect ripe tropical fruits, flowers, and citrus notes, with very elegant hints of vanilla and toasted nuts from the oak. It is full-bodied and rich, yet with a noticeable minerality and salinity, characterized by sophisticated flavors of grapefruit and dried mango. The charming finish is long-lasting, with delicate honey aromas and elegant vanilla and walnut aftertastes.
