The vineyards of Château Tessier date back to the 15th century. They are spread across the slopes of a hill a few kilometers northeast of the beautiful town of Saint-Émilion, on clay-limestone soil ideal for Merlot. The efforts made by Dourthe's Château Tessier winemaking team have been recognized through evaluations by renowned wine magazines such as "Wine Magazine" and the receipt of various awards.

This is a medium-bodied red wine with a brilliant garnet color. It features a soft palate reminiscent of coffee and blackberry, with a cherry-flavored finish.
