Bin 23 gets its name from "Cellar 23" at Magill Estate, where the wine is matured. It uses fruit sourced from cool-climate regions such as the Tamar Valley (Tasmania), Adelaide Hills (South Australia), and Henty (Victoria), reflecting the complexity of diverse Pinot Noir clones.

It has a vibrant raspberry color. Aromas of wild strawberries, fresh tobacco, sage, and spicy oak are present. Flavors of red fruits and berry yogurt cake emerge, with a roundness and richness perhaps due to maturation on lees in barrique barrels. The Tasmanian grapes contribute a delicate acidity, minerality, and a hint of flint, which radiate through the aroma and taste. Best enjoyed now through 2030.
