Widely regarded as Napa's first cult Cabernet Sauvignon, this iconic wine is named after the founder of Beaulieu Vineyard and has been produced in the Rutherford AVA since 1936. It has also been served at White House dinners.

Ripe berry aromas are intertwined with hints of lavender, violet, rose, and fresh herbs such as fresh mint, sage, bay leaf, and juniper berry. Because some of the aging takes place in new French oak barrels, notes of vanilla, cedar, clove, and cinnamon add exotic spice to the flavor. The tannins have a cocoa powder-like texture, giving a supple and long finish with a firm presence.
