Montée de Tonnerre is located on the right bank of the Serein River, and its valley between it and the adjacent Grand Cru vineyards makes it a well-ventilated plot. The strong Kimmeridgian soil and thin topsoil result in intense minerality, while its southwest-facing slope provides ample sunlight, leading to highly ripe grapes. This Chablis Premier Cru perfectly combines the best characteristics of both the left and right banks, resulting in a wine of exceptional completeness.

It boasts a brilliant golden color with aromas reminiscent of lemon peel and mint. On the palate, a rich citrus fruit flavor is subtly complemented by a hint of white pepper, leading to a long and pleasant finish.
