Clos de la Garenne is located north of the Premier Cru "Forêtiaire," on gravelly soil with a thin topsoil layer directly above the bedrock. The vines are very old. The wines of Domaine Duc de Magenta are vinified by Louis Jadot, ensuring their quality.

It has a noble and very elegant complex aroma of almond paste, ferns, and white flowers. The acidity is slightly restrained, with a rich yet delicate flavor.
