The vineyards of Pommard border Beaune to the north and Volnay to the south. The vineyards are located in the center of a complete slope, facing east or south. Pommard village only produces red wine. "Clos de la Commaraine" is 4ha. Although it is not owned by Louis Jadot, they are responsible for the cultivation and vinification of some of the vineyards.

This is an exemplary Pommard wine, a powerful and rich wine with a firm structure characteristic of this appellation, both in aroma and taste. The finish is also very long.
