JP Moüiex Château Gazin 2020 750ml

Château Gazin is located in the eastern part of the Pomerol hills, which are rich in clay soil. Due to its proximity to Château Pétrus, 5 hectares of clay-rich vineyards were sold to Pétrus in 1969, but it remains one of the largest châteaux in Pomerol, still owning 26 hectares of vineyards. It is a fruit-forward wine with smooth tannins.

It has a deep reddish-purple hue. Aromas of almond, toast, vanilla, fresh mint, as well as red fruits like plum, chocolate, coffee, and a hint of licorice are present. With further aging, spicy aromas emerge, along with nuances of truffle and forest undergrowth.
