This chateau has been passed down through a family for five centuries. Built at the end of the 16th century as one of the first monasteries of the Carthusian order, it has undergone only minor renovations over the centuries. The history of Chateau de Salles is also the history of the family, and it is a family wine with the motto of tradition, growth, and quality.

It has a beautifully brilliant deep red color, with complex and captivating aromas of dark fruits, especially black cherry, violet, and vanilla. This rich and surprisingly balanced wine begins with notes of dark fruits and a hint of spice, supported by refined and silky tannins. It progresses through a full-bodied and complex mid-palate, and finally leads to a long and elegant finish.
