M. Chapoutier Hermitage Rouge Le Meal 2020 750ml

This precious, limited-production wine is made from high-trellised vines grown biodynamically in single vineyards, subdivided by plot. "Hermitage Rouge Le Méal" is a cuvée produced since the 1996 vintage, with an average vine age of 50 years and a mere 2.2 hectares of vineyards.

The grapes are harvested from vineyards located on steep slopes. It has a deep, purplish garnet color, with ripe fruit and smoky flavors. It is full-bodied, with velvety smooth and powerful tannins. This rich wine, reminiscent of blackberry jam, can easily be aged for 50 years.
