In 1976, Fabrizio Bianchi was the first to plant Cabernet Sauvignon in the Chianti Classico region. At the time, it was more highly regarded abroad than in Italy, so it was named "Nemo," meaning "no one recognizes it (in its home country)." It is a fruity, smooth, and full-bodied red wine.
It boasts powerful aromas of blackcurrant and other fruits, as well as vanilla. While very smooth on the palate, it also offers a firm acidity and minerality. It is a full-bodied wine with elegant tannins and a clean, long finish. It is suitable for long-term aging.
