Smith & Sheth CRU Heretaunga Chardonnay 2019 750ml

This is a new project started in 2016 by MW Steve Smith, a grape grower, and American investor Brian Sheth. The brand was named "CRU" because Steve Smith MW believes that cru, meaning "vineyard of excellent quality" in French, is of paramount importance.

Vivid pale straw color with a greenish rim. A fresh, fruit-forward Chablis-like style. Complex and light. Balanced with lively acidity and a creamy, expansive texture.
