Dourthe Essence de Dourthe 2014 750ml

This is a rare wine, with only 6,000 bottles produced in good vintages, made from grapes grown in carefully selected plots from Dourthe's three Bordeaux châteaux: Belgrave, Le Boscq, and La Garde.

It has a concentrated, deep red color. The bouquet is rich and complex, with aromas hinting at maturity. Fresh blackberries merge with spicy nuances of sandalwood. On the palate, it is smooth and rich, with an expansive, attractively strong aroma. It has a long, structured finish, bringing aromas of sweet spices along with lingering blackberry and blackcurrant notes.
