This Fifth Growth classified chateau in the Médoc is considered one of the most historic vineyards in the Haut-Médoc. With excellent terroir where exceptionally deep gravelly soil covers limestone, the quality of their wines has significantly improved since 1986 due to bold investments in their vineyards and winemaking facilities. They produce wines that express the unique character of the Haut-Médoc.

The wine has a powerful, almost black appearance. The powerful aromas of dark fruit are surprisingly complex, harmonizing with notes of spice and licorice. This outstanding, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon possesses wonderful finesse and concludes with a very long finish.
