Only wines made in Gorge that meet the various A.O.C. regulations can bear the cru name "Gorge." This Gorge is made by strictly limiting yields and aging it for approximately twice the normally prescribed aging period for Gorge, resulting in a mellow and elegant Muscadet with concentrated citrus fruits and minerals.

You can feel the concentration of fruit and minerals brought about by limiting yields. Muscadet is usually enjoyed fresh when young, but by aging it for 48 months, it becomes rich, powerful, mellow, and elegant on the palate. It overturns the concept of enjoying Muscadet when it's young, allowing you to appreciate the high aging potential of Melon de Bourgogne.
