Penfolds RWT Barossa Valley Shiraz with Gift Box 2021 750ml

The name RWT, an acronym for Red Winemaking Trial, was an internal name used when the project for this wine began in 1995. While Grange uses American oak barrels, RWT uses French oak barrels, resulting in a rich and mellow style.

Brilliant deep crimson. Aromas of fruits such as blueberry, goji berry, and loganberry, as well as chocolate, hazelnut, licorice, crème brûlée, and the iron and earthy scents of the Barossa soil are present. It has a vibrant taste with fine-grained and smooth tannins. Though rich, it is a wine with a wonderfully long finish, depth, and balance, without relying on alcohol or oak.
