This series is known as Penfolds' gateway. It is a richer style of wine, blending Shiraz from multiple regions in South Australia, offering plump red berry fruit flavors, rich aromas, and supple, ripe tannins. It is characterized by excellent structure and a long finish.

A medium-deep, vibrant crimson color. Complex aromas of red fruits, red licorice, white chocolate, spicy notes like pink peppercorn, violet, red plum, exotic aniseed, and candied fennel. The acidity is crisp, and the palate has a resilient texture. It features subtle brioche and croissant textures from barrel aging, smooth tannins, and a seamless drinking experience.
