Inspired by Bin 707, also known as the "Grange of Cabernet," this wine boasts a distinctive structure and profound flavor, coupled with excellent quality and drinkability. It clearly exhibits the characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon, showcasing Penfolds' expertise in blending cuvées from multiple vineyard districts.

It has a deep ruby color. Initially, aromas of violet, blackberry, mulberry, cherry, blood plum, and brioche are present, followed by notes of herbs, bay leaf, wet tobacco, and cigar box. The wine is highly concentrated and varietally expressive. With time, it develops flavors reminiscent of charcoal-grilled bell peppers and cumin-seasoned eggplant, infused with the scent of sandalwood and cherry wood smoke.
