Gevrey-Chambertin is located in the northern part of the Côte de Nuits and has 26 Premiers Crus and 8 Grands Crus. The "Lavaux Saint-Jacques" vineyard faces south and enjoys excellent sunlight. Located at the tip of a small valley, its soil is very similar to that of the Grands Crus such as Chambertin and Mazis-Chambertin.

It has a beautiful deep ruby color. The aroma is pure, with notes of dark fruits, leather, and spices. It has firm tannins, a powerful and concentrated flavor, and an astonishingly long finish.
