Named "King's Field," this vineyard is located in the village of Chenôve, situated on a rather steep east-facing slope. The soil is brown, composed of marl and clay mixed with sand and pebbles, offering excellent drainage. This "Clos du Roy" is considered the most likely candidate for promotion to Premier Cru in Marsannay in the near future.

It has a deep ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, dried plums, and blackcurrant unfold, eventually developing musk notes with age. The tannins are abundant yet smooth.
