As the oldest winery in Puglia, this is one of the masterpieces of the Leone de Castris family, who have been making wine since 1665. It primarily uses Negroamaro from the Salice Salentino region. It is a smooth and mellow red wine.

Its appearance is a garnet-tinged ruby red. It has a very concentrated bouquet with aromas of plum and blackberry. The palate is soft and smooth.
